Last month, I held my solo exhibition at the Ekinan Gallery in a city library. I designed it like books in the library; for example, square frames, various subjects, and stories.
Last day of the exhibition, I got good advice from the director of the library. She said, “ Though prepared flyers ran out in the late of the exhibition, some people asked me about it. Why don't you make postcards and sell them?” It is such an honor to be able to have you say such a thing. I am thinking about whether I could do that in my next solo exhibition.
A few days ago, I bought “Screen holder W”. I hope that they will be useful for making works in my small studio.
先月、駅南ギャラリーで個展をさせていただきました。図書館内の展示という事で、四角いフレーム・様々な主題・物語など、版画作品を本に見立てた構成にしました。
最終日に、館長から「会期中後半にフライヤーが無くなってしまった後も、欲しいと言ってくださる方々がいらしたので、版画をハガキにして販売してみてはどうですか。」というご提案をいただきました。ありがとうございます。次の個展でハガキを販売できるか検討します。
数日前に、「スクリーンホルダーW」を購入しました。これから、小さなアトリエで活躍してくれると思います。
